Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure Requirement

As part of your Private Hire Licence application, you must complete an Enhanced Criminal Records Disclosure, which includes checks against the DBS Children’s Barred List and DBS Adults Barred List.

Follow these six steps to complete your application online:

1. Visit https://app.knowyourpeople.co.uk and select Register.
2. Enter the PIN code and secret word provided.
3. Fill out the application form with your details.
4. Choose the identification document you will use for verification.
5. Make the payment for the DBS application online.
6. Print the barcode sheet and take it, along with your original ID, to the Post Office for verification.

Additional Information:

• The E-number will be available within three working days after your ID verification at the Post Office.
• Fees: Approximately £65 (includes ID verification).
